Under the 2025 policy, individual consumers purchasing 1st-grade energy-efficient AC units can receive a direct rebate of 20% of the final sales price, while 2nd-grade models qualify for 15% – with each household eligible for up to 3 air conditioner units. Wuxi Huichuang has launched a dedicated rebate service desk to guide customers through the entire process, from资格申领 (qualification application via Alipay, WeChat, or Cloud QuickPass) to subsidy verification, eliminating paperwork delays.
"We’ve trained our team to help customers instantly identify which VEUV and Daikin AC models qualify for the maximum rebate," said a Huichuang spokesperson. "For example, Daikin’s Split System AC with SEER2 ratings up to 13.4 and VEUV’s energy-saving inverter models are all fully compliant. Last month alone, we assisted over 200 households in securing an average subsidy of RMB 1,800 per unit."
